So Chris Gayle Should Be Suspended For His “Arrogant” Apology?

Kiss my big axe teeth!

It seems this saga with Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle will either blow over or be dragged on and on by grim people intent on being grim.

Gayle has already stated: “I’m really sorry for that. Did she tell you she was uncomfortable?..We have to move on, simple.”

Well, the journalist in question echoes the same sentence: “Let’s move on.”

Australian cricketer Ian Chappell has put his two pennies in. “Gayle should be suspended for his “arrogant” apology”, he declared. Apparently Gayle had re-tweeted a message of support from TV presenter Piers Morgan. “I’m absolutely outraged that everyone’s so absolutely outraged by @henrygayle being a bit cheeky to a female TV reporter. .

So what does Renegades chief executive Stuart Coventry say? “On a super positive to both Dwayne and Chris, they have been fantastic in the group, I can’t complain about anything at all, it doesn’t matter if it’s children, families, kids, females, girls, housewives, husbands, they’re more than happy to help and sign autographs.”

So now, West Indies teammate Dwayne Bravo, who has also joined the Renegades for the Big Bash League, has been dragged into the whole boring saga.

He began singing Justin Bieber’s song “Sorry” at the press conference. One uptight journalist suggested it was “inappropriate” and Bravo said it was their favourite song. Okay, we will record that response and make an issue of that, Dwayne. LOL

Chris seems to have already put the saga behind him.

Apparently he has been presenting his “golden bat” to numerous children for them to hold and sign it. At least these excited children are not phased by all this!
