More Damning Audio/Video files played in Vybz Kartel Murder Trial
Following the revelation of last Friday’s (Jan 24) shocking audio files, potentially even more damning audio was played in court today.
Detective Sergeant Patrick Linton continued giving evidence in the Vybz Kartel trial today.
Videos and audio files from a BB Torch 9800, reportedly belonging to Vybz Kartel were played in court today.
According to Det. Sergeant Linton, these recordings took place on August 16, 2011:
In the video at least 3 men seen are stating: “stab him in a him neck and slow him down”.
Another voice is heard saying: “swing hard and nuh mek it ketch me”.
On another voice-note recorded on August 19, 2011, the following was heard: “Between me and yu, a chap wi chap up di bway Lizard fine, fine n dash him weh enuh,”
“As long as u live dem can neva find him” …”yea man, a mince meat dat’
“Well mi tel Shawn seh him affi buy dem bak… a waan tel u seh mi stil gi him a new ’45 weh mi jus get fi gwaan watch him head & tel him seh any man missn dis, same treatment”
The court was not told of the identity of the men and the case has been adjourned until 10 am tomorrow morning.
Detective Sergeant Linton is expected to continue giving evidence tomorrow.
Vybz Kartel whose real name is Adidja Palmer is charged with members of his Portmore Empire gang Shawn Campbell o/c Shawn Storm, Kiro Jones o/c ‘Ray Jones’, Shane Williams, and Andre St. John with the 2011 murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who was reportedly killed at a house in Havendale, St. Andrew over missing guns.
The body of Williams has not been found.
