Cops Arrested for Robbing Motorist

A male and a female District Constable from Trelawny have been arrested by the Anti-

Corruption Branch following allegations that they stole money from a motorist. The

incident reportedly took place when they were carrying out a routine spot check and

stopped a motorist who had a large sum of money. They then inquired about the source

of the money.
The officers are accused of pocketing some of the funds and the matter

was reported by the victim to the ACB. Members of the ACB arrested the accused

officers who are scheduled to face an Identification parade today.
