Pastor Forced to Resign After Coming Out as Homosexual

A pastor that worked in central Jamaica was recently forced to relinquish his pastoral duties as head of his church following the confession of a man that he and the clergyman had been sleeping together for the past two years.

The pastor’s sexual orientation was  often times questioned by members of his church. Recently, some light was shed on the pastor’s sexuality after the man he is allegedly involved with forgot to log out of his Facebook account. The man is also a member of his congregation.

A member of the church  said the pastor has been the head of the church for eight years, and that people have always wondered if he was fond of men.

Reportedly the Facebook page was left unattended and other members of the church were called in to view messages of a sexual nature between the man and the pastor.

A member of the church  said, “..after we showed him the messages, the man confess because there was no way out.”

A senior member of the church has confirmed the drama that unfolded.

He said, “We have in our possession a resignation letter from the pastor, about 15 other persons left with him. We accept his resignation … We have done our best and will continue to rid the church of these guys.”
