14-year-old Jada Wright is set to begin her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) in January.

Affectionately referred to as a “little genius” by her mother, Jada aced her CESEC exams receiving grade ones across the board.

Jada embraced online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, using the flexibility it affords to enroll in master classes.

Jada’s mother, Judian Wright, founder of the South East College, recognised her daughter’s love for online learning and facilitated her transition to a full-time online program.

Remarkably, at just 12 years old, Jada coordinated a homeschool program at her parents’ institution, the Caribbean Online Academy, showcasing leadership skills beyond her years.

Due to her age, she will not be boarding on campus, yet her achievements and dedication serve as an inspiration to students and parents alike.

Jada’s story exemplifies the extraordinary potential within young minds and the boundless opportunities that passion and determination can unlock.
