Reggae Boyz Take On Antigua Next Month
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will take on Antigua on March 25 at Sabina Park.
The friendly international is scheduled to start at 5pm.
Jamaica’s most recent encounter with Antigua was in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium also in 2012.
The Boyz will take on several Caribbean teams as part of their preparation for the Concacaf League of Nations in September.
The match against Antigua was finalised after a previously planned encounter against an unnamed opponent failed to materialise as their desired date clashed with the final day of the ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys’ and Girls’ championships that concludes on March 24 at the National Stadium.
Jamaica recently re-entered the Top 50 in the monthly FIFA Coca-Cola world football ranking.
This after earning a creditable 2-2 draw against World Cup bound South Korea last month.
The Boyz climbed five steps up the ladder to be ranked 50th in the world.
