Reggae Boy Michael Hector Red-Carded in First 2 Games at New Club
Reggae Boy Micheal Hector is having a nightmarish start at his new club Eintract Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga.
The Jamaica international defender, who was recently loaned out from Chelsea to his new club received his second red card in as many games on Saturday.
During a league match against Schalke, he was shown the red card in the 79th minute after he brought down Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, denying him a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Eintract Frankfurt, who were already 1-0 up courtesy of an Alexander Meier goal in the 13th minute, held on to maintain the winning scoreline.
Hector was also red-carded last weekend in a German Cup match against Magdeburg.
In that encounter, the 24-year-old was sent off the pitch in extra time after receiving his second yellow card.
The talented defender will now miss Eintract Frankfurt’s matches against Darmstadt 98 on Saturday and Ingolstadt on September 20.
