Let Prime Minister David Cameron Keep His Trojan Horse
When Dickie Crawford, esteemed Academic postulated on CVM Live at 7 that Cameron, Britain’s Prime Minister is a racist I concurred with him.
Cameron’s failure to apologise for his foreparents accumulation of wealth from the flesh of black people is not anything new. He personally has benefitted as his ancestors were slave masters and plantation owners paid at the emancipation of slavery by the British treasury.
To add insult to injury he came bold and brazen to exact trade rights and benefits for his ailing economy and his capitalist friends. Added to this, he brought the evil gift of a prison, a coded institution to put more back men in jail.
What is alarming is how low our government bowed to the “Anansyism” of David Cameron. Lacking deep analytical knowledge and sense of sociology, cultural studies and intentional politics our leadership allowed Mr Cameron to bully the government.
Where else in the world of the Commonwealth can Cameron travel to push down his ill conceived intentions, certainly not India nor Pakistan . If he had gone to Zimbabwe or Tanzania they would have run him out as Britain had stole 90 percent of their best arable lands and given to her white colonial stooges. People ignorantly blame China but history has shown the Chinese had never enslaved us. Mr. Cameron should realize Britain has nothing to offer us.
They cannot produce machines or medicine or inputs at competitive prices. UK goods have been and remain expensive. We have alternatives these days from Japan, China, and even India. We do not need them to mark our high school exam papers as we have a competent CSEC equivalent to the best of Britain, neither do we need to travel to London or the Midlands for studying medicine and engineering. The world is open as it regards academia and competition means our scholars can choose and refuse where they go, once they have the money. Our students can matriculate for higher institutions in Canada, The USA, Australia, Brazil, Germany and even Russia.
Today we have a closer relationship with the USA as western countries than Britain. Since the 1970’s net migration to the USA is at least 20 times that of the net migration to England. Yes, we do not need Britain . Sadly, we also continue to bow to a queen whose family has benefitted from the suffering and atrocities meted to our forefathers; the floggings, the deprivation of medicine; the murders and hangings; the deprivation of property and land; the rapes resulting in Caribbean “Collorism” and the destruction and death of entire villages such as Stony Gut and the torture from the tread mill to indignities vividly documented in the history books such as dosing our forefathers with faeces. Does Cameron understand how we feel regarding what our forefathers went through?
We must understand that Britain will never repay us for slavery. Britain’s DNA is stealing and not just from Jamaica but her wealth is derived from Buccaneerism, Privateering, robbing the copper diamonds and gold from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa. A country built on “thieving wealth” will never change its spots.
Our leaders have let us down but the spirit of the Jamaican people, the daughters and sons of slaves will forever prevail. A race of proud people captured and taken to the west have survived and will survive without much assistance from white people. Let Cameron take his Trojan horse elsewhere but not to a country where the majority are the proud descendants of black African slaves.
