Suspected serial rapist now in police custody

According to Loop News, a taxi driver who is suspected to be a serial rapist was collared by cops after a melee in Portmore, St Catherine on Thursday.

Investigators say a number of women have complained of being sexually assaulted by the suspected rapist in East Kingston.

One of his alleged victims reportedly spotted him and pointed him out to the cops who attempted to collar him but in an attempt to escape their clutches, the taxi driver attempted to use his vehicle to run them over.

A woman cop was hit down during the attempt.

The cops reportedly opened fire and the driver was hit in the arm.

He was then grabbed by the cops who took him to hospital where he was treated and released into their custody.
