What has Farrakhan Taught Jamaicans?

So I watched the MILLION MAN MARCH and the first thing that came to my mind was the IGNORANCE of our people.

Yes I said it the IGNORANCE of our people. Here were THOUSANDS of Jamaicans gathered the hear a man tell them how much the white man has wronged them.

I heard the SHOUTS when he referred to the Prime Minister as ‘SISTER P’, and how much he lauded her for trying to make Jamaica a republic to finally get us away from the wicked queen.

I heard him spout names as he went back into the HISTORY of how the white man did us wrong, and while he did this the crowd cheered and many said ‘SPEAK IT’, the IRONY?

While he was busy cussing the white man and while the crowd was busy cheering, he forgot to mention ONE THING.

That it was a BLACK PJ PATTERSON, and it is a BLACK Portia Simpson Miller, who now has JAMAICA and JAMAICANS under unprecedented bondage, and suffering.

Tell many of the same people sitting in that audience to get up and DEMAND JUSTICE from the politics and politicians of Jamaica, and I can guarantee you would not see a crowd HALF that size.

Tell them to hold these same politicians accountable, and watch the turn out.

Like sheep they follow BLINDLY because by God the esteemed minister must be right.

After all he is a BLACK MAN, and he has JAMAICAN BLOOD running through his veins all be it from a Jamaican father he never met.

I watched him while he PREACHED in his dark glasses, and the very first thing that came to my mind was, why the need to hide his eyes?

And the answer came to me that, the eyes are the windows of the soul, and if your soul is DARK, that darkness will show itself.

And I wondered to myself, do any of these people read, or even consider SEEKING TRUTH for themselves?

Or do we continue it blame the WHITE MAN, THE JEW, and everybody else when HISTORY has shown that our own people also helped to sell us out?

Do we continue to allow the dark history of slavery to continue to dictate that we are still bound by it mentally, or do we rise up from the ashes, and MAKE our place in society?

I am sure that the murders, robberies, and injustice being MELTED out to Jamaicans every day is being done by fellow BLACK Jamaicans.

I am sure it is a BLACK PRIME MINISTER that we have running things, so why on earth are JAMAICANS suffering?

Is it the white man who is destroying our HOSPITALS, RAPING AND MURDERING OUR CHILDREN, TREATING THE ELDERLY LIKE GARBAGE, ABUSING OUR WOMEN?

Where is the love of self, pride etc? Do we need to wait for a BLACK MAN to get on a pulpit to preachthat to us amid the undercurrents of HATRED for others because by GOD they did us wrong, and THEY NEED TO PAY?

A PEOPLE WITH NO CONCEPT OF THEIR PAST WILL FOREVER BE  LOOKING FOR THEIR FUTURE.

MAY GOD HELP US.

So much into Race (blamed for EVERYTHING), when in Jamaica, nationality should be foremost. Race is nonsense. Just about every Jamaica I know is mixed. Imagine, if you will, where Jamaicans would be today if we supported Jamaica and JAMAICAN made products and services. My mother owned a shirt making facility in Jamaica (Brand:Elsa) in the 1950’s, how many shirt-making factories in Jamaica today? And that is just one item out of hundreds that could be MADE IN JAMAICA. I am just telling it like it is!!!

What a sensible piece of writing. Education of your young people is the main stay of any country but does the Jamaican government want that as they might realise then just how bad their governments are and what they are doing to their own people

There is certainly no doubt that white people are guilty of the evil of slavery. The ongoing discussions about reparations attempt to deal rationally with this abomination along with significant aspects of its aftermath. However, as the descendants of slaves who now run our own affairs we must be held accountable for our own failings of the past 50 years. Please read my new book, SUFFERERS’ MANIFESTO, in which this is put into real, rational perspective. It is not that the white man is innocent so much as it is that we are guilty of gross ineptitude in the management… Read more »

the writing is an indication of our severe mis-education…and the responses are just as sad…..when we don’t even understand that both PJ and Portia are nothing but puppets of the system…they are like the book-keepers on the plantation who had to do the dirty work of the master….look around you….all over the world and you will notice that we are so programmed that the master just sits back in his ‘ivory tower’ and watch us fight over him and his interests….we have gotten nowhere…..so sad…..

The muslims are no better than the white man, because they were the first to capture us and sell us to the Portuguese, but you see our people don’t read, so we’ll listen to anything and anybody’s lies

Your article prove that you truly didn’t hear a word Min. Farrakhan said. Your perception was truly clouded. What history are you reading that can prove anything he said was not true. There’s always an apologist for the oppressor.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. you all are wrong .The reason we are suffering is because we will not obey the law and statues of the most high God for example . This will prove that we are the children of Israel . Deuteronomy 28:68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake… Read more »

Not keen on Farakhan or his teachings. In Toronto I met many well dressed black men on the streets who had no job, no skills or training who were passing out fliers for the cause. We always ended up in an argument about their future and the real cause they were supporting. We have enough black men with no purpose in Jamaica without importing more ideas to continue the trend,

Who, are the oppressors today and centuries ago, go tell me no foolishness now, I’ve been studying history all my life and no arab or any moslem can lie to me, even Farrakhan’s teacher was a child molester ,so-called Hon. So don’t come to Jamaica with your muslim allah foolishness man, we got some well learned brothers of the most high Yah, who knows who we are.… Read more »

What! I am reading response to The Hon. Min. Farrakhan speech, and the level of ignorance is so profound based on many responses, and I have to ask the question did these people really listen to what Farrakhan said?, he gave away thousands of books, dvd, of the lecture free of cost, the event was free. I humbly ask all you ignorant folks please get the lecture and study it.

True word. Who wrote this, said it all. Too much dunce ppl allowing politics to have power over us that is not doing us any good. What the white man did to us gone and will never repeat itself but our own steer us in the eye and rob us of our rightful way of living.

Farrakhan came here when he had the choice of going to Africa to tell them all this nonsense. We may be blacks and have some ancestry but we are Jamaicans! ‘Out of many one people’. This is not America and we blacks are not a voting minority we have the power of the majority vote that black Americans lack. So this is just propaganda of a grievance prognosticator. The protests of the 60s and early 70s brought about profound changes in America and many of the radicals such as Farrakhan back then have become authority figures today. But now we… Read more »
