The Next Step Habit

Developing a good habit is generally a powerful tool useful in unlocking success. A habit is literally a force that governs the human body: habits makes or breaks one depending on whether they are good or bad. Constantly thinking and putting actions to your ideas is a process that describes the forming of a habit.

An excellent habit to have is what I coined the ‘next step’ habit. The concept is almost self-explanatory: after achieving one thing, take another step. Let me caution you that the next step habit is applicable even after a failed attempt. Disappointments are not stop signs; they may be directing you to take another route, but even then you continue moving. No wonder it is often said that life is a journey, sometimes we may have to slow down a bit but we must keep going.

If you stop running, life still continues, don’t drop out , keep running! As I am currently building a business ironically called NexxStepp Personal Development Services an Inspirational Products my steps and the struggles that come along with it is strengthening my NexxStepp Habit.

At times you may need assistance to take another step because of some severe injury whether it be a major illness, the death of loved one, an awful breakup or otherwise. At these times just seek help. This is what many great persons fail to do as they tend to feel self-sufficient. Lack of resources is another thing that usually deters people from taking another step.  In this case one needs to think creatively of every possible means of gaining that resource.

Many times it is when you put a foot forward that you are noticed by some agent that is willing to provide assistance supplying that which is needed to get closer to your destination. Success is not when you have ‘arrived’; it is continuous progression toward an anticipated objective.

As you move along your path of purpose celebrate every success, no matter how small, rejoice and move again, this way self-actualization is guaranteed!
