7 Yr Old in Custody After Mixing Food With Pesticide

A child of only 7 years from the Ramble All Age School in St. Mary is now in  custody after it was discovered he had mixed the pesticide Gramoxone and gasoline into food items located in the teacher’s staff room last week.

The  student who is currently in grade two broke into the staff room with the use of a pair of scissors and sprinkled Gramoxone and some Gasoline into various items of food stored for teachers.

Classes at the School were suspended yesterday in order to test the water supply.

The child was taken into custody by the St. Mary Police and sent to the Child Development Agency. He is now under the care of a guardian.
