My inspiration for this piece came after I saw a girl dancing without any music being played.

I went over to her and asked her “What are you dancing to?”

She looked at me and said  “I‘m dancing to the music in my head.”

Technique used: Pointillism – Pen & Ink

Original dimensions: 20 * 13 inches

For those unfamiliar with this technique, it  is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image.

The technique relies on the ability of the eye and mind of the viewer to blend the color spots into a fuller range of tones.
