St Catherine family desperate to find 3-yr-old girl

A St Catherine family is desperately trying to find a three year old girl who has been missing for more than 24 hours.  She is Samunya Bloomfield of Grove Farm, Old Harbour ST. Catherine. 

She was last seen Friday evening June 20 , when she went to bed.  She and a younger sister, who is almost two years old were asleep on a bed.

The mother discovered Samunya missing close to midnight.  The little girl, who  will celebrate her fourth birthday on July 2,  is of brown complexion, slim build and is about 91 centimetres or 3 feet tall.

Samunya  was wearing a  pair of  cream underwear and a purple blouse.

Police who have activated a high alert for the three year old girl , say all efforts to find Samunya have proven futile.

Even as the police investigate her disappearance, her family and community members have  launched their own search.  The family has also printed and distributed flyers with a picture of Samunya appealing for her return.  Anyone with information about  little Samunya Bloomfield is being asked to contact the Old Harbour Police at 983-2255, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
