Two Reggae Boyz Named In IFFHS CONCACAF Team Of The Year

Two Jamaican internationals have been named in the annual CONCACAF Team of the Year, announced by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

They are Reggae Boy defenders Alvas Powell and Damion Lowe.

Prior to his recent move to FC Cincinnati, Powell spent the greater portion of the season with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Philadelphia Union. He was selected as the region’s best right back.

Lowe, who currently plays for the Egyptian club Al-Ittihad was named as part of the team’s reserves.

Earlier this year, Lowe was also named as part of the CONCACAF Gold Cup Best XI.
