Young Reggae Boyz Thrash Turks and Caicos 7-0 in Curaçao

Jamaica’s Under-20 Reggae Boys delivered another commanding performance on Wednesday night, dismantling Turks and Caicos Islands 7-0 in Group B action.
The fixture formed part of the Concacaf Under-20 World Cup qualifying tournament currently being contested in Curaçao.
Two-goal hauls from Raequan Campbell-Dennis and Giovani Taylor spearheaded the emphatic triumph, keeping Jamaica’s unbeaten run intact in the campaign.
An early breakthrough arrived in the 10th minute when Campbell-Dennis found the net.
Just three minutes later, the forward struck again to double the advantage.
Further pressure paid off in the 19th minute as Jahmarie Nolan added Jamaica’s third.
Momentum continued in the 30th minute with Jabarie Howell getting on the scoresheet to extend the lead to 4-0.
Second-half proceedings saw Geovanni Taylor increase the tally in the 61st minute.
A late surge followed in the 82nd minute when Orell Miller made it 6-0 in Jamaica’s favour.
Three minutes from full time, Taylor capped the night with a crisp half-volley to complete the 7-0 rout.
Victory lifted the Rudolph Austin-coached side to six points at the summit of the group, building on Monday’s 3-0 win over Bonaire.
Elsewhere in Group B, Puerto Rico also moved to six points after brushing aside Bonaire 4-0, while St Kitts and Nevis secured a 3-0 result against the Cayman Islands.
Attention now turns to today’s encounter, where Jamaica face the Cayman Islands at 7pm Jamaican time.
