Rygin King’s latest album “Recovery” was officially released yesterday, June 14, and quickly surged into the top 10 of the iTunes Top 100 Reggae Albums Chart.
The 14-track album includes collaborations with Damian Marley, Chronic Law, and Serani.
Sharing the album’s cover art with his 742k Instagram followers, Rygin King captioned the post, “Recovery album now out, let’s go, run it up.”
Following a life-changing incident in 2020 that left him paralysed and using a wheelchair, the dancehall artist has been actively undergoing therapy in hopes of regaining mobility.
Through his Rygin King Foundation, he recently launched an initiative to provide wheelchairs, walkers, and other aids to disabled individuals in Jamaica.
Despite his challenges, Rygin King is set to make his debut performance since the incident at the Bounce Music Festival in Orlando, Florida, scheduled for Saturday, June 15.
