Breaking: Privy Council to Deliver Verdict on Vybz Kartel’s Appeal on March 14th
The Privy Council has announced that the judgment in the murder appeal case of incarcerated dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel and his co-convicts will be handed down next week.
The judgment is scheduled for March 14 at 11 am (Jamaica time).
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, along with his co-appellants Shawn Campbell, Kahira Jones, and Andre St John, was convicted on March 13, 2014, for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
The appeal was heard by a panel including Lord Reed, Lord Lloyd-Jones, Lord Briggs, Lord Burrows, and Lady Simler over two days in February.
