Veteran Journalist Michael Sharpe has died.

He was 65 years of age at the time of his passing.

He reportedly died this morning in hospital.

Sharpe had been ailing for some time and had been in  hospital for several weeks.

  

The senior Journalist who has been the media industry for over four decades was reportedly recovering when his family last provided updates to the public in March.

Claire Grant – General Manager of Broadcast Services at the RJRGLEANER Communications made the disclosure on social media stating:

“It is with deep regret that TVJ, JNN, the RJRGLEANER Communications Group announces that our colleague, friend veteran broadcaster, newsman Michael Sharpe died this morning. Condolences to his family and friends. Peace Michael. Peace,” Grant tweeted.
