His speed remains unmatched and his iconic celebration is still imitated by many. Bolt was able to influence many spheres in the world, even in those that you would never think of. Orville Burrell,  also known as Shaggy, is a singer, DJ, and an actor who is best known to the masses for songs like Bombastic, It Wasn’t Me, Angel, and many more. He is a multiple Grammy-nominee and winner and has won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist. Anyone who knows anything about music has heard of him. Shaggy was awarded the Jamaican Order of Distinction in 2007.

One more athlete hailing from Jamaica, this time in the world of football. Not many people know this, but Raheem Sterling was born in Jamaica’s capital – Kingston. He spent his early years in the city, but after his father was killed, he moved to North West London. The rest is history. Sterling is currently shining in Manchester City’s jersey and is considered as one of the best attackers in the world and is also among the most expensive players in the world. He is one of the favourites to win the Golden Boot in the Premier League.
