The conversations around accessible, affordable higher education is ongoing no matter what time of year.

Although there is no shortage of facilities seeking to entice the career-minded individual to enrol with them, many tend to overlook the no.1 concern; how to pay for this opportunity without graduating under a mountain of debt.

This obstacle is one of the ways in which UNICAF and its partners offers a tangible solution. In an effort to ease that burden, students can apply for scholarships that cover up to 80% of tuition fees, considering the financial situation of the applicant.

Digital Marketing manager at UNICAF, George E. Kyriacou, provided a wonderful summary of how the organization seeks to provide access to an internationally renowned education, at an affordable price for any student seeking to obtain a degree, whether as an undergraduate or a postgraduate.

UNICAF has made a dramatic impact over the last few years by providing scholarships to students that could normally not afford the full tuition fees of distinguished universities. This has not only had a great impact on their lives but also on the wider local community by giving more people access to higher education.”

The UNICAF brand offers their Internationally Accredited University degree programmes on a flexible online platform. While they have only recently begun to offer their services in Jamaica, they are already well-established and thriving educational providers in a number of countries worldwide.

UNICAF operates its own university, Unicaf University, and is also in partnership with Universities in the UK, Europe and the US. The educational opportunities that UNICAF has established includes campuses and learning centres in Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Nigeria, Malawi, Egypt, Kenya, Hong Kong, and also works with a number of renowned partners in the delivery of their dynamic international education.

UNICAF recognises that the university education should be an experience and one that works with the individual instead of demanding that the students conform the life they currently try to lead to suit their curriculum. The online platform, combined with their scholarship opportunities, allows students to have access to international programmes with a delivery mode that offers flexibility, as well as affordability.
