Police Officer Accused Of Kidnapping, Beating Ex For Days After Being Dumped
A St Ann woman was allegedly kidnapped by her boyfriend after ending a tumultuous relationship with him.
The man accused of carrying out the kidnapping is a police constable based in Manchester.
The constable allegedly held the woman between July 25 and August 5.
She was reportedly lured to the home where her hands and feet were tied up and her mouth gagged.
During that period of confinement, the woman was also allegedly deprived of food.
Additionally, it is alleged that the cop used a broomstick to beat the woman.
It is further alleged that the cop also used an infamous torture technique on the woman known as waterboarding.
Waterboarding is a form of water torture in which water is poured over a cloth covering the face and breathing passages of an immobilized captive, causing the individual to experience the sensation of drowning.
The woman eventually managed to free herself and escape.
