Miss Jamaica World 2016 Crowned

On Sunday night (august 21), 20-year-old Ashlie Barrett – Miss French Connection Events, was chosen as Miss Jamaica World 2016.

She succeeds Sanneta Myrie, who was the 4th runner up at Miss World 2015 pageant, as the reigning Miss Jamaica World.

The event was held at the Iberostar Resehall Resort. 

Ashlie bested 14 other competitors to earn the title of Miss Jamaica World 2016.

The second runner up was Milinda Smith while the first runner up was Whitney Levy.

Barrett, who hails from Kingston is now scheduled to compete at the prestigious Miss World 2016 pageant to be held in December 2016, in the United States of America.
