The Murder/Suicides Occurring in Jamaica Must Stop!
The number of murder-suicides being reported in Jamaica is frightening.
The most recent case of an apparent murder-suicide took place on Thursday (March 31) and it reportedly involved a soldier and an early childhood school principal in the quiet community of Hope Village, Williamsfield.
According to a report by the Observer, the dead couple involved in that tragedy has been identified as Gail Anderson, 42-year-old principal of Hope Village Early Childhood Institution, and her common-law husband John Williams a Jamaica Defence Force sergeant.
While we do not yet know who the shooter was in that particular incident, we many times read about men taking the lives of women in jealous fashion.
It is a phenomenon of our times it seems, and has become a frequent attribute of separation.
Men have become weak and desperate in their search for control. Tirelessly, they work to trap the minds of strong and ambitious women to provide for their own inadequacies.
However, women have advanced beyond the imaginative boundaries under which they were placed.
They, now, represent the structure that men fight so hard to break down. Yet, we find men walking the dangerous path of abuse and murder.
It has to stop!
Let not this be a burden for women or a quality that men seek to pursue at anytime. It is such a waste when we lose two beautiful minds to the ridiculous conflict of opinions and desires.
