Jamaican Mother of Three Found Dead in British Virgin Islands
A Jamaican mother of three, 38-year-old Tracy Forbes was reportedly found unresponsive at her Long Trench home in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) on March 28.
According to Loop Jamaica, Forbes, who is originally from Manchester, Jamaica had been living in BVI for roughly ten years.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated investigations so far indicate nothing suspicious.
The island’s police force noted that upon inquiries they were told that Forbes had gone to bed after midnight and was later found unresponsive by her boyfriend at around 3am.
A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of Forbes’ death. Forbes sudden death has left the Jamaican community in BVI in shock, with a popular Jamaican broadcaster in the island expressing grief and sadness.
Forbes leaves behind her partner and three children, including a one-year-old.
