I Fully Endorse Prime Minister-Elect Andrew Holness
Dear Prime Minister-elect
Some Jamaicans are slow learners with short memories.
We are best educated over a long period of time. The short courses are not to our liking so we don’t absorb it readily.
Nonetheless, I must say that Jamaica and Jamaicans have not felt prosperity in decades.
I am pleased have a change: to have a young and current mind take the helm; to fashion an economy after the model of progress made by The Honourable Edward Seaga; and to rid the entire political arena of the corruption that holds us back.
On Thursday, we voted for what we believe in and what we don’t. I believe that you will make a difference.
I believe that we must trust you to deliver on your promises. I believe that if the Jamaica Labour Party was not elected, we would have had another painful four or five years to rethink our stance.
We will not be swayed by the tools of propaganda but we, who have experienced tremendous hardships, will look at the past, see the present and change the future.
Mr. Holness, you have my blessing and my faith that you will transform our lives for better.
I have great expectations of you and I now charge you with this enormous responsibility because I know you are well suited for it.
Make us proud to be Jamaicans once again and make Jamaica the home we wish to have for many generations to come. Write your name in history as I close by saying, “Sir, the pen is now yours.”
