Almost 50 Sub 10 Second Clockings For Bolt!
Jamaica’s Usain Bolt could very well register his 50th official sub 10 second time over 100 metres next year.
The world’s fastest man has already clocked 45 sub- 10 second times in his impressive career which has seen him become the the 2008 and 2012 Olympic 100 and 200 metres champion.
Earlier this year Bolt increased his tally by four after he clocked 9.87 seconds twice in the London Diamond League meet and 9.95 and 9.79 at the World Championships.
Despite being plagued by injuries in recent times, Bolt may surpass retired American Maurice Greene, who has 53 sub 10-second times.
Another American athlete , Justin Gatlin could also soon register 50 sub 10-second times as he currently has 46.
Jamaica’s Asafa Powell currently holds the title of “Sub 10 King” having officially broken the 10 second barrier an incredible 93 times.
