Jah Cure Arrested in Trinidad

36-year-old Jamaican reggae artiste Siccature Alcock, more popularly known as Jah Cure was reportedly arrested in Chaguaramas, Trinidad after performing at a show on Sunday night.

Following lengthy discussions between his lawyer and attorneys for the local promoter whom he reportedly owes over TT$83,000 in performance fees for a concert that did not materialize, the entertainer was released.

According to the Trinidad Guardian  Alcock was able to pay US$6,000 in cash to the court and agreed to pay the remainder by Monday evening September 28).

Earlier this year, another Jamaican entertainer – Busy signal, was also arrested prior a scheduled performance in Trinidad over an unpaid debt.
