Past Student of UTech Dies While Playing Football
A past student of The University of Technology reportedly died while playing football on Sunday.
The abrupt death of the student has left staff and students at the institution in mourning.
According to Loop News, the student, Davian Chippy Mason died after collapsing while playing football in his hometown of Falmouth Trelawny.
The UTech Students’ Union offered condolences to his family via Facebook.
“The Students’ Union Council sends our condolences to the family of Davian Chippy Mason Harvey. Former VP student services 2011-2012, who passed away (on Sunday) while playing football. May his soul rest in peace,” the students’ union said.
