Over 2000 Rounds of Ammunition Seized Following Police Chase

Over two thousand assorted rounds of ammunition were seized  in Manchester this morning following a high speed chase.

According to Irie FM, at about 12:30 am, members of the Area Three Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division were carrying out an operation along the Grove Place main road, when they signalled the driver of a motorcar to stop.

The driver reportedly ignored the directives of the police, and sped off.

A chase ensued and the police intercepted the vehicle, after it crashed along another section of the roadway.

The ammunition, bags of rice, along with other items were seized during a search of the vehicle.

The four occupants have been arrested.
