5th Place for Jamaica in Miss Universe

Jamaica’s Kaci Fennell on Sunday finished fifth in the 63rd annual Miss Universe Pageant in Doral, Miami.

After earning a place in the final 15, she confidently graced  the stage in swimwear to secure a spot among the 10 ten finalists.

Her later progression to top five required Kaci to answer two questions.

Her first question came from the judges: “One in three women will experience violence in her lifetime, what can be done to get that number down?

Kaci’s response: “Crime is a global phenomenon, it does not affect just one nation. We as a people of the world should work together to prevent this now.”

The second question was for top 5 finalists and came courtesy of Miss Universe viewers .

The question was: “What is the greatest contribution of your country to the entire world?”

Kaci answered by saying Usain Bolt and Bob Marley are among the island’s greatest contribution to the world.

The pageant was won by Miss Colombia Paulina Vega.
