THE SIDE CHICK DILEMMA
Recently PAMPUTETTE ( a dance hall artist), proudly said she had no regrets about having a child for a married man.
She even made a song about her affair called HUSBAND LOCK where she states in the song that:
“Gyal come a dance and a talk bout she hot, a talk bout ring and a she a get the cash.
A pure dutty clothes and plate she a wash, nuh pay har nuh mind cause a chat she a chat.
Woi mi have yu husband lock, mi have yu husband lock …”
“She a call mi man tekka, sey mi a home wrecker, a nuh my fault him deal wid me better. Calm dung yu self nuh rise yu blood pressure.
Get a pen and guh write Dear pastor a letter. Sorry my dear mi know sey yu hear a him a buy all a mi Brazilian hair. All when mi fly out a him pay the fare. Mi know sey yu hurt but man haffi share”.
The FIRST thing I am going to say is that WOMEN like her should be ASHAMED of themselves, because while you are BOASTING about being the SIDE CHICK, the REALITY is THAT IS ALL YOU WILL BE, and the man is telling you that YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE WIFE, or to be NUMBER ONE.
Let’s face it unless a WOMAN is holding a GUN to man’s head, if he is in a relationship and it isn’t working, all he has to do is LEAVE!
The RUBBISH about staying in a bad relationship for the sake of the KIDS, is the oldest con ever. Basically what they are saying is that their KIDS are so STUPID that they are not aware of what is going on between mum and dad? Seriously?
Any woman proud to call herself the SIDE CHICK is lacking in SELF WORTH, SELF RESPECT, VALUES and CHARACTER, the one thing she does not fully understand is that the MAN is having the best of TWO WORLDS and loving every moment of it!
They also need to ask themselves how they would feel were they the wife, and someone else was BOASTING about being the SIDE CHICK for their husband.
It is WRONG to put any man on a PEDESTAL where you are seen as THE SIDE CHICK. If he cannot be yours FULLY, then you have no business being with him.
What WE all should be doing as WOMEN, is UPLIFTING and SUPPORTING each other, NOT BRAGGING ABOUT BEING WITH SOMEONE ELSE’s HUSBAND.
The WORST thing any woman can do is to bring a CHILD into a SITUATION that is TOXIC like that, because the same way YOU are the SIDE CHICK, the CHILD will always be THE OUTSIDE CHILD.
