Manning Cup in Full Swing

Kingston College were 3-0 victors over Group G rivals Ardenne to register their 4th from 5 games this season in the ISSA Manning Cup corporate area schoolboy football competition.

The other game in the group saw Pembroke Hall outscoring Meadowbrook 3-2.

Action in Group A saw excelsior also having a 3-2 win over Penwood, in Group D Inswood stopped Haile Sellasie 2-0 and Calabar edged Tivoli Gardens 1-0.

In Group F Donald Quarrie carved out a 2-1 win over St. Andrew College while Kingston Technical and Oberlin played to a scoreless draw.
The competition continues tomorrow with another 8 games in Groups B, C, D and E respectively.

In Group B Jamaica College travel to Mona, and Waterford take on St. Jago.
Over in Group C, defending champions St. Georges College visit Clan Carthy, Hydel tackle Denham Town and Cumberland go up against Dunoon.
The lone game in Group D sees Bridgeport facing St. Mary’s College, while Jonathan Grant face Trench Town and Ascot play Holy Trinity in Group E.
