Speid Names 24-Man Reggae Boyz Squad for Guatemala, Honduras Clashes

Jamaica will have several familiar faces back in the fold when the Reggae Boyz begin their 2026-2027 Concacaf Nations League campaign later this month.

Captain and goalkeeper Andre Blake is among the returning players selected by Head Coach Rudolph Speid, along with Leon Bailey, Tyreece Campbell, Richard King, Kasey Palmer, Karoy Anderson and Renaldo Cephas.

The group of returnees last represented Jamaica during the unsuccessful 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.

Speid has called up 24 players for Jamaica’s opening two Nations League fixtures, both of which will be played at the National Stadium.

The Reggae Boyz will first face Guatemala on Friday, September 25, before returning to the venue four days later to take on Honduras on Tuesday, September 29.

Jamaica have been placed in Group B for the opening round of the competition.

Progress from the preliminary stage will be limited to the top two finishers in each of the two groups.

Those four qualifiers will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will join the competition’s ranked teams — two-time defending champions Mexico, the United States, Canada and Panama.
