Landslide Occurs Along North South Highway

Motorists travelling on the North South leg of Highway 2000 are being asked to exercise caution following a landslide on a section of the recently opened road.

According to Irie FM, the incident reportedly occurred at approximately 3 am this morning.

One lane heading into Kingston has reportedly been covered by dirt and rocks.

A bus also reportedly sustained damage from the landslide.

The north south leg of Highway 2000 was opened in March, 2016.
