Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Holiday in Jamaica Again with Family
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to embark on a family holiday to Jamaica over the upcoming holiday break.
Trudeau, accompanied by his immediate family, will travel to the Caribbean country from December 26 to January 4.
This marks the second consecutive year the Trudeau family has chosen Jamaica as their holiday destination, having spent time on the island after Christmas last year.
Despite their separation announcement earlier this year, Trudeau and his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, will reportedly vacation together, fulfilling their commitment to maintaining a close family bond.
The Prime Minister’s Office emphasised that it sought approval from the federal ethics commissioner before the trip.
Additionally, Trudeau’s family has pledged to cover the expenses of their stay and reimburse the cost of using a government plane for travel..
