Record 403 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded In Single Day!
On Monday, Jamaica hit a new one-day record for new COVID-19 infections with The Ministry of Health & Wellness reporting that 403 people tested positive for the virus.
The age range for the newly recorded cases are between 63 days to 96 years.
One new death was also attributed to the virus – An 84-year-old male from Kingston and St Andrew
The 403 positive results came from 1,935 samples tested.
Manchester recorded the most infections, with 81 cases, continuing a recent trend in that parish.
St. James, at the western end of the island, followed with 69 cases, while the Corporate Area (Kingston & St. Andrew) reported 66 new infections.
