American Vacationer Dies After Being Hit By Truck in Hanover
33-year-old Christopher Leite of Nashua, New Hampshire in the United States was one of two pedestrians who died after being hit by a truck along the Sandy Bay main road in Hanover on Tuesday.
The other casualty was 34-year-old Damion Jones, however no additional information regarding him has yet been made available.
The truck that killed both men reportedly got out of control prior to crashing into them.
Police in Lucea say both men were standing on the roadway when the driver of a white Isuzu motor truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed into them, causing severe head and body injuries according to the Jamaica Observer.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 pm.
Leite was a father of three.
