Boy Found Alone on Bus Reunited With His Family

A young boy who is believed to be about 5 years of age was on Saturday taken to the Bridgeport Police Station in St Catherine by a Jamaican Urban Transport Company (JUTC) driver.

This after the driver who traverses the number 20 route in Portmore—Greater Portmore to downtown Kingston discovered that the boy was aboard the vehicle by himself.

The boy, who appears to have a speech defect, was unable to communicate his name or any other information to the police.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force has now revealed that the child has been reunited with his family.

In a recent social media post the JCF stated:

After an appeal was made to reunite this child with his family yesterday, we are pleased to report that he has been reunited with family after his parents picked him up at the Bridgeport Police Station last night.

Thanks for the overwhelming outpouring of support we received yesterday from you. Thank you so much team!

Together everyone achieves more.
