Kristina Newman-Scott is another Jamaican who is doing BIG things overseas.
She is currently the Director of Culture for the State of Connecticut where she oversees all aspects of the state’s programs and services related to art, culture and historic preservation.
She currently resides in Hartford Connecticut with her husband Gordon and their five year old daughter.
In what is a very inspiring story, Newman-Scott shares how her grandmother’s words – “What is fi yu cyan un fi yuh” always remained with her and motivated her to achieve her goals.
