“Good to Prove the Critics Wrong” Says Reggae Boy Garath McCleary (Video)
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are now riding a crest of a wave having won their last two matchups at this year’s edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The team has managed to minimize silly defensive mistakes and under the tutelage of coach Winfried Schäfer the ‘Boyz’ have been slowly finding more creative ways to get the ball from midfield to the opponent’s third of the field.
Jamaica played to a 2-2 draw against Costa Rica in their opening game at the Gold Cup 2105, and followed that up with two 1-0 victories over both Canada and El Salvador.
Following their most recent victory against El Salvador, Reggae Boy Garath McCLeary who has scored two goals in his last three games for Jamaica mentioned that the team did really well despite doing down to 10 men in that encounter and also that stated that it’s good to prove the critics wrong.
