Reggae Boy Kasey Palmer Scores Superb Goal For Coventry City

On Wednesday Hull City emerged victorious over Coventry City in a five-goal spectacle, denting Coventry’s hopes of securing a playoff spot in the English Championship.

Despite a valiant effort from Jamaican international Kasey Palmer, Coventry City found themselves on the losing end, succumbing to Hull City’s relentless pressure.

The match began with an early setback for Coventry as they gifted Jaden Philogene the opening goal in the first half.

However, Kasey Palmer came to his team’s rescue with a sublime free-kick to level the score in the 36th minute.

Fábio Carvalho put Hull CIty ahead again just before the half time break with a well taken penalty.

Coventry fought back and found the back of the net in minute 58 courtesy of a Bobby Thomas header, pulling them level once again with Hull City.

Yet, their hopes were dashed as a defensive error, an under-hit backpass from Thomas, allowed Hull City’s substitute Noah Ohio to clinch the winner with his first touch just minutes after coming off the bench.

The result sees Hull City reignite their own playoff hopes, closing the gap to within three points of Norwich City and setting the stage for an exciting climax to the Championship season.
