Peter Morgan, Lead Vocalist of Morgan Heritage, Dies

Peetah Morgan, the lead vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning group Morgan Heritage, has passed away.

The announcement of his passing was made via the group’s official social media channels earlier today, leaving fans and peers stunned and grief-stricken.

Morgan Heritage, a band renowned for its unparalleled contributions to the genre, consists of the offspring of the late reggae luminary Denroy Morgan.

In a heartfelt statement shared online, the group expressed profound sorrow over the loss of their beloved “husband, father, son, and brother.”

“It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son, and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage, Peter Anthony Morgan, has ascended today, February 25. Jah come and save us from ourselves because love is the only way,” the statement read.

While the announcement did not disclose the specific circumstances surrounding his passing, it concluded with a request for privacy during the mourning period.

“Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of healing,” the statement appealed.
