Jackson to Kick Off Season This Weekend!

World 200-metre champion Shericka Jackson is poised to make her mark this weekend at the J-3-A’s Puma Fuller Anderson development meet hosted at GC Foster College.

The Budapest 2023 triple medalist will be testing her mettle in the women’s 60-meter event on Saturday, sharing the track with notable competitors like twins Tia and Tina Clayton, Serena Cole, Ramona Burchell, Jonielle Smith, Shockoria Wallace, Natasha Morrison, Janice Russell, Krystal Sloley, and Janeen Brown.

Adding to the excitement, Jackson’s MVP teammates, Sada Williams of Barbados and Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas, will also be in the mix for the event.

Meanwhile, Kishane Thompson, who turned heads with his impressive 9.85 seconds last year, leads the men’s field.

  

The competition features a formidable lineup, including Budapest World Championships finalist Rohan Watson, Tajay Gayle, Rusheen McDonald, Shawn-d Thompson, Odaine McPherson, Michael Campbell, and Ramone Barnswell.
