VIDEO: Reggae Boy Joel Latibeaudiere Scores For Coventry City!

In an exciting Championship clash, Hull City’s Aaron Connolly grabbed a late equaliser against Coventry City, denying the visitors a much-anticipated victory.

Jamaican international Joel Latibeaudiere powered home a near-post header early in the match to Coventry in the lead.

The game started with both teams in attack mode, and it was Coventry who drew first blood.

Joel Latibeaudiere, taking full advantage of lax marking from the home side, delivered a powerful header into the net from Josh Eccles’ well-placed corner.

This opening goal set the tone for an thrilling encounter between two Championship contenders.

Coventry’s Haji Wright had an opportunity to double their lead shortly after, but he miscued his shot from close range, allowing Hull to stay within striking distance.

Hull City’s Scott Twine threatened the Coventry goal with some sharp efforts, but their accuracy was lacking as only four of their 18 attempts were on target.

As the clock ticked down and Hull City looked destined for a disappointing night, Republic of Ireland striker Aaron Connolly came to the rescue.

Connolly, who has been a standout performer since joining Hull City from Brighton in the summer, scored his fourth goal of the season with a deft header, ensuring that Hull City maintained their unbeaten run in the league.

The draw elevated Hull City to fifth place in the early-season Championship table, while Coventry City, who have now drawn their past four matches, moved up to 11th.

Remarkably, both teams have remained unbeaten in the league since suffering defeats on the opening weekend of the campaign.
