Shericka Jackson Triumphs in 200m at Zurich Diamond League!
Building on her recent triumph at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Shericka Jackson, Jamaica’s two-time 200m world champion secured a resounding victory at the Zurich Diamond League.
The event took place on Thursday, reaffirming Jackson’s exceptional prowess in the sprinting arena.
Jackson immediately took the lead in the race, maintaining control throughout and clocking an impressive 21.82.
Having faced a setback during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where she failed to advance beyond the heats, the 29-year-old Jamaican sprinter has since established her supremacy in the sprinting discipline.

Her remarkable journey includes the acquisition of five Olympic medals, notably including a gold medal as a vital member of the 4x100m relay team.
Daryll Neita from Great Britain finished second with a time of 22.25.
Third place was claimed by Kayla White from the United States, crossing the finish line at 22.33.
