The 18-year-old sprinter, who holds the national junior record for the 100m event, made the decision to turn professional a couple of weeks ago when she signed with Auctus Global Sports.

Reid’s performance throughout the 2023 season has been nothing short of exceptional.

She played a vital role in her school, Hydel High, clinching their first-ever Girls Champs title.

Displaying her tremendous speed and talent, she set a remarkable national junior record of 10.92 seconds to claim the gold medal in the Class 1 100m race at the championships.

She further demonstrated her prowess by completing the sprint double with a time of 23.08 seconds in the 200m event.

Continuing her impressive form, Reid went on to triumph at the Carifta Games in Nassau, securing the gold medal in the Under-20 100m category with a time of 11.17 seconds.

In May, Reid faced off against professional athletes for the first time at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix held at Drake Stadium in California. Despite the formidable competition, she displayed her potential by clocking times of 11.12 and 11.08 seconds in the 100m event.
