Tyreek Magee to Play for Colorado Switchbacks in the USL Soccer Championship

Jamaican footballer Tyreek Magee is set to play for the Colorado Switchbacks in the USL Soccer Championship in the United States pending approval from the League and Federation.

Magee transferred from the Belgian pro league side, Kas Eupen.

Although Magee only made five appearances as a substitute for Kas Eupen this season, amounting to 88 minutes of playtime, he has competed in various international competitions for Jamaica.

He played in four different tournaments, including the Concacaf 2019 Gold Cup and 2022 Fifa World Cup qualification matches. Magee has appeared in nine matches for the Reggae Boyz, starting three, and playing for a total of 368 minutes.

Before playing for Kas Eupen, Magee attended Jamaica College and won the Manning and Olivier Shields with the school’s team.

He joins the Colorado Switchbacks, who are currently in second place in the western group of the USL championship with 16 points, just two points behind the Sacramento Republic FC.
