Leon Bailey Being Targeted By Top European Clubs

Reggae Boy Leon Bailey is reportedly being scouted by several top flight clubs in Europe as he continues to impress in the German Bundesliga.

His club – Bayer Leverkusen are currently second in the league and the Jamaican has played a pivotal role in the team’s success having scored five goals and providing six assists so far.

He is now reportedly on the radar of several top English sides including the likes of Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Bailey is slated to play in a Europa League encounter against Slavia Prague today (Dec 10) and scouts from various clubs will likely be keeping a keen eye on the youngster.

The 23-year-old has in a sense taken over the reigns as the Leverkusen’s star player following the departure of Kai Havertz who recently joined Chelsea.

His coach Peter Bosz offered him praises for his exploits on the field saying:

‘He gets better with every game not just physically but also in terms of his football’.

If Bailey continues to impress, Leverkusen may very well need to hike their £36m price tag.
