Bailey Scores Twice To Lead Leverkusen To Group Win In Europa League

On Thursday Reggae Boy Leon Bailey scored twice to help Bayer Leverkusen win Group C of the Europa League with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Slavia Prague.

Leverkusen were 2-0 up ahead of the half-time break courtesy of Bailey’s goals which came in minutes 8 and 32.

Following the break, Moussa Diaby and Karim Bellarabi added to the lead to cement the victory.

Leverkusen topped the standings with 15 points, three more than its Czech opponent. 

  

Bailey has three years remaining on his contract with Leverkusen but may very well move on to a club in England as his continues to garner widespread interest.
